About the Mask

Welcome, 

 

We appreciate your interest in Clean Valley CIC's mask project, and thank you for your  response to our call for volunteer testers.

 

This Canadian sourced mask is being developed to be antiviral one day soon. In the meantime, we need customer feedback on the masks design. You may back out of this at any time but if decide to proceed you will receive one of our mask prototypes for free. We ask you to wear the mask for a specified amount of time. 

 

Please keep in mind these masks are experimental and are not yet NIOSH/ASTM certified or classified as medical grade. They do meet the Canadian federal safety guidelines for indoor masks standards.

If proceeding you will receive by mail the mask, a return package and instructions to wear the mask for a specified number of hours. These hours do not have to be consecutive, but we do ask that you record them and do your best to land on the exact number of hours.  The treatment times will be one of 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105, or 120 hours, randomly assigned. Once you have completed your hours, we will send you a survey for you to provide detailed feedback.

Once this is done, we ask that you seal your mask in the return package and send it back by mail. This is crucial research helping combat COVID-19, and we would be grateful for your participation.
